Terms and Conditions


Description of Goods


Here at Equus Design all of our products are handmade. Although we use specific measurements or patterns, as each product is made individually, two of the same products may differ very slightly. Although we use the same leather/edge dyes/thread, occasionally the tone of colour may vary slightly. We may vary our fittings, dependant on supplier and/or availability, but will always use suitable fittings for the product.

It is the customer's responsibility to measure correctly for any item ordered. Please contact us if you need any advice or help.

It is also the customer's responsibility to make sure products purchased are suitable for intended use, ie. size/weight/strength for size of horse/dog. If you have any queries, please contact us.


Payment


As we only sell to the UK at the present time, prices are listed in pounds sterling. We reserve the right to change any prices without any warning. Payment will be required at the point of you ordering. When you go to shopping cart, you will be prompted to pay via PayPal where you can pay using various cards or by using your PayPal balance. We can accept bank transfer as a payment, but you would need to contact us either using contact page, e-mail (mb.equusdesign@gmail.com) or by calling us on 07885 313152 (please leave a message if we don't answer, we will get back to you).

All items must be paid for in full at point of ordering.

We are not responsible for any payments made using another parties debit/credit cards without owners permission.


Delivery


We aim to have your items delivered to you within stated time frame, but occasionally, there may be a delay. You will be contacted if this is the situation to make sure you are happy with this.

However, we are not responsible for any delays caused after the item has been posted.


Postage


All of our products are sent using Royal Mail recorded (signed for) or tracked delivery. We offer free delivery, so there is no extra cost on top of your product.


Leather


Being a natural product, leather can have scars and marks. We will make sure that any scars that will weaken the product will not be used and will aim to conceal any light marks. To make leather last, it must be fed and looked after. As stated before, some leather colours can vary slightly from piece to piece from the tanning process.

All photos and details on this website belong to Equus Design and not to be copied or used in any way without permission.

We reserve the right to change prices/items/photos without warning and will not be held responsible for any problems caused if the website goes offline for any reason.

The photos may vary in quality due to light (colours may vary) etc and are a representation of product only, although we try to keep them as accurate as possible.

We reserve the right to remove any item from our website at any time without notice. If we receive a request for said item, it will then be deemed as a bespoke item and will no longer be considered as stock, which will affect rights of return. Price may also be different from previously stated on website.


Warranty


All of our have a warranty of six months as long as :-

- Item was suitable for intended use and a suitable sizing/strength for horse/dog

- Item has been looked after according to our advice on the website and information received with item

- Item has not been damaged in any way

We reserve the right to repair or replace item in these circumstances.


Right to Cancel


If you wish to cancel your order, please inform us within seven days of ordering by email or phone, for a full refund. If the item has been posted to you within this time, return of the item is required before a refund is given, but the item must be unused, unmarked, undamaged condition, in original packaging and returned by Royal Mail recorded delivery, within seven days of receipt. Refunded money will be returned using method of original payment.

After seven days any items ordered that are deemed non stock (not listed on website) or bespoke, once production has been started, cancellation will not be accepted.

If you change your mind once you have received your product, you may return your product within seven days of receipt. Please contact us beforehand and send back to us in unused, unmarked, undamaged condition, in the original packaging and using Royal Mail recorded delivery. If item is considered used, marked or damaged upon receipt, a percentage of price will be refunded to compensate. Postage cost will not be refunded in this case.

If you receive your item and there is a problem with it regarding faults with workmanship or materials, contact us via email or phone as soon as you notice the problem. We will ask you to send item back and as long as we agree there is a fault, we will resolve the issue for you. We do however reserve the right to repair or replace the item to resolve the issue. Postage costs will be refunded if we consider fault is ours.


Updates to Website


We reserve the right to update terms and conditions, privacy policy and other information on this site from time to time without notice. We advise you check them from time to time.
